AS AN ASSITANCE APPLIED MECHANICS TEST ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
  • Execute mechanical, fatigue and shaker tests for compressor components and systems.
  • Set up test equipment, prepare specimens, and ensure high-quality test execution and data collection.
  • Design and develop test fixtures using 2D/3D CAD and NX to support efficient and reliable testing.
  • Complete and assist in test planning, test execution, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Perform engineering calculations and validate test results.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and design validation activities.
  • Support continuous improvement of laboratory capabilities, testing efficiency, and data quality.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory tooling, test methods, standards, and databases.

REQUIRED EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Mechanics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience on Mechanical Engineering, compressors, or HVACR Technology are preferred.
  • Proficient in 2D/3D CAD and NX for creating part drawings and designing test fixtures and tooling.
  • Familiar with engineering tools such as Python, LabVIEW is plus.
  • Strong hands-on skills with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
  • Fluent in English and able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
