We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure across the Americas region. In this role, you will manage everything from initial site surveys for massive new launches to the day-to-day operational upkeep of our existing enterprise network and cutting-edge data centers. responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead multiple network projects simultaneously from conception to completion, including new site launches, hardware procurement, and refreshes for locations ranging from 50 to 1,000+ users.
- Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, install, patch, and maintain enterprise network hardware across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security, and VoIP disciplines.
- Tier 3 Technical Support: Provide high-level troubleshooting and Tier 3 network support for regional sites and primary data centers.
- Proactive Monitoring & Incident Response: Utilize advanced network monitoring tools to proactively detect issues, perform deep root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Lifecycle Collaboration: Partner with global IT teams and management to support the full project lifecycle, including proofs-of-concept (PoC), testing, comprehensive documentation, and performance reporting.
- Change Management: Actively participate in, enforce, and present changes to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) following strict ITIL change control processes, including rotating weekend on-call support.
qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network applications and hardware (Switches, Routers, APs, Firewalls).
- Demonstrated experience working within dynamic, large-scale enterprise network environments.
- CCNA certification is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on enterprise experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (both locally and internationally) to support system upgrades and maintenance events. Cultural adaptability across North and South American region.
