Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $27.95hr - $32.95hr
  • Support hardware testing, automation, and product verification activities in a lab environment.
  • Execute test protocols and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining compliance with procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify issues and improve testing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test protocols for surgical simulation and automated testing using advanced systems and equipment.
  • Perform design verification testing with guidance from test engineers.
  • Identify, document, and escalate issues or failure modes during testing.
  • Provide clear and accurate test documentation and results.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices when recording test data.
  • Perform cleaning and reprocessing of instruments, endoscopes, and accessories.
  • Develop and update work instructions for test methods and procedures.
  • Identify and implement improvements to test methods and processes.
  • Train lab assistants on test execution and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and communicate risks to management.
  • Support product verification and test process design activities.
  • Comply with standard operating procedures and departmental guidelines.

Requirements/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in a hardware production or test environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand technical instructions and documentation.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and report quality issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to run software scripts and use online documentation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to work with biological samples including blood, tissue, and organs.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong work ethic.

Skills:

  • Ability to use basic tools and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn complex systems and processes quickly.

Qualification And Education:

  • Associate s or Bachelor s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.

Should Have:

  • Experience in a medical device environment.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as MATLAB, Python, Arduino, Linux, or SQL.
