Location: Juno Beach FL 

Duration- 6 Months (Contract to hire) 

W2 only

We are seeking a motivated and innovative AI Developer I Contractor to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered solutions. The contractor will work alongside internal AI engineers, software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent applications, automation capabilities, and AI-driven business solutions that support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Python development skills, experience working with modern AI technologies, and the ability to quickly learn business processes while contributing to enterprise AI projects.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and deployment of solutions using AI.
Support data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering activities.
Develop, test, and maintain AI-driven application features and machine learning models.
Build proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions utilizing:
Generative AI
Agentic AI systems
Large Language Models (LLMs)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Prompt Engineering
Implement algorithms using industry-standard AI and machine learning frameworks.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within AI solutions and supporting data pipelines.
Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
Support AI model deployment, monitoring, tuning, and lifecycle management.
Assist in the integration of AI capabilities with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
0 to 5 years of experience in software development, AI, machine learning, data science, or related technical roles.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Understanding of:
Data structures and algorithms
Object-oriented programming
REST APIs
Software development lifecycle methodologies
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model development, and model evaluation techniques.
Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI orchestration frameworks.
Experience using source control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
