Job Description:
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of next-generation software-defined radios (SDR) and advanced communication systems. The role focuses on electrical circuit design, RF and digital hardware, system debugging, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical components and communication systems.
- Design and debug electrical circuits and hardware.
- Interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and block diagrams.
- Support RF and digital hardware development and validation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on complex projects.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
- Electrical Circuit Design & Debugging.
- Experience reading schematics, specifications, and block diagrams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- RF Test Equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters).
- RF & Digital Hardware.
- Basic VHDL Programming.
- Hardware Requirements Derivation.
- Experience with LTSpice, AWR Microwave Office, Mentor Graphics, Xpedition, LabVIEW, and DOORS.
