Software Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer (Python) to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems for enterprise-grade financial platforms. This role emphasizes API development, platform engineering, and distributed systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in system design for distributed and high-availability systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams
• Enhance system performance, security, and observability
• Follow best practices through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of strong Python backend development experience
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger
• Solid understanding of system design (scalability, fault tolerance, performance)
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Experience in Financial Services / FinTech domain
• Strong exposure to Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and high-availability systems
