Job DetailsCAD & Design Systems Manager
Location: Remote
Position Summary: Seeking a CAD & Design Systems Manager to support a growing engineering team delivering mission-critical and data center projects. This role will own CAD standards, design libraries, engineering workflows, and QA/QC processes while helping improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD standards, templates, symbols, and design libraries
- Standardize control drawings, wiring schematics, and engineering documentation
- Drive process improvements and design automation initiatives
- Support AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and engineering design workflows
- Manage document control, version control, and engineering deliverable quality
- Assist with BIM/VDC coordination and project integration as needed
- Train engineers on standards, tools, and best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of CAD management, design engineering, or related experience
- Strong AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience
- Experience developing CAD standards and engineering documentation
- Familiarity with BAS, controls, MEP, electrical, or mission-critical projects
- Experience with QA/QC, document control, and workflow improvement
Preferred
- BAS / Building Automation experience
- Mission-Critical or Data Center experience
- Revit and BIM coordination experience
- Autodesk Vault, Meridian, or ProjectWise experience
- Design automation experience (Python, AutoLISP, VBA)
