Role Summary

The Salesforce UX Designer will craft intuitive, user-centered experiences for Salesforce applications. This role combines research, design, and collaboration to deliver solutions that enhance usability, accessibility, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points on the Salesforce platform. Analyze findings to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design Conception & Prototyping: Translate user research and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for Salesforce applications and features.
• Visual Design & UI Development: Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces (UI) for Salesforce, adhering to brand guidelines and leveraging the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to ensure a native look and feel. Create graphic user interface elements such as tabs, widgets, and menus.
• User-Centered Design Advocacy: Champion human-centered design (HCD) principles throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that all Salesforce solutions prioritize the user experience and accessibility.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, Salesforce developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, present design concepts, and gather feedback. Effectively communicate design rationale and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Testing & Iteration: Facilitate usability testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve the user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications, to guide development and ensure consistency.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our design practices remain cutting-edge and effective.
• Experience in financial services industry is a plus.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in UX design tools (Figma, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
