IT Security Specialist III

Location: Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist to support the review and validation of enterprise critical infrastructure restoral plans. The ideal candidate will work with subject matter experts to assess the comprehensiveness of restoral strategies, identify potential gaps, and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for testing. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead reviews with SMEs to understand the enterprise critical infrastructure and determine the comprehensiveness of restoral plans and test documents.
• Highlight potential gaps to ensure effective restoration of critical services.
• Review developed ECI plans with SMEs and team members for completeness, accuracy, and test readiness.
• Collaborate and build partnerships across different technology and operational teams.
• Manage tasks effectively under pressure to meet competing requirements.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Working knowledge of architecture and operations for technologies such as Mainframe, Cloud Hosting (VMWare stack), Storage, Backup, Autosys, and Network firewalls.
• Experience with solutions from vendors including Cisco, HP, Broadcom, Checkpoint, and VMware.
• Demonstrated experience with technical recovery and/or technical Business Continuity Planning.
• Prior experience in conducting technology assessments.
• Previous experience working on audit and regulatory issues.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Attentive to details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
