We're hiring a Director of Network & Unified Communications to own a ground-up network rebuild setting the architecture, standards, and strategy from a blank sheet. The org is yours to shape, and the VP you'll report to did the same through networking. Technical credibility isn't optional here. *100% onsite in Melbourne, FL. 9/80 schedule.*

What You'll Do

• Lead the full enterprise network rebuild architecture, design, standards, and sequencing across WAN, LAN, wireless, VoIP, and telecom operations globally
• Define the colocation connectivity strategy: design, redundancy, vendor selection, and ongoing operations
• Build a tech debt elimination plan covering hardware refresh sequencing, standards definition, and lifecycle governance
• Assess and deliver a formal go/no-go recommendation on Network as a Service (NaaS) for LAN and wireless layers within year one
• Mature the MSP engagement model from scratch no established structure or SLAs exist yet and provide executive-level reporting on program progress, operational health, and cost outcomes

What You Bring

• 10+ years of enterprise networking leadership with hands-on experience in ground-up builds, COLO, cloud connectivity, or large-scale infrastructure transformation
• Deep expertise in enterprise WAN/LAN/wireless architecture: SD-WAN, routing/switching, wireless design, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Cisco environments
• MSP management experience, specifically in early-stage or immature models
• Ownership of unified communications: VoIP, SIP trunking, soft phones, video/telepresence, conferencing, and contact center
• Experience with Zero Trust network segmentation, NAC, and STIGs in a defense or regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent)
