Duties and Responsibilities:

Core Desktop and End-User Support

  • Provide hardware, software, and application support across all platforms including Windows PCs/laptops, iOS devices, and mobile phones.
  • Monitor and respond to help desk incidents and requests, providing problem resolution via phone, email, remote access, and in-person support; escalate appropriately.
  • Prepare, image, deploy, and refresh endpoints (desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices); follow standard build, patching, and security baselines.
  • Maintain printers including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and supply management; coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain and track IT hardware inventory and software licensing; ensure accurate asset records and timely updates in ticketing/asset systems.
  • Provide basic directory and access support (for example, Active Directory) as authorized; follow change management and security procedures.
  • Perform training and information sessions on key business tools and systems.
  • Update tickets and assignments according to established procedures and service level expectations.

Site Controls, Documentation, and Communications

  • Perform periodic site technology controls and compliance activities (for example, visual inspections of IT-controlled spaces and support for physical access reviews) using established checklists and evidence requirements.
  • Maintain local site documentation, escalation contact lists/call trees, and knowledge base content; ensure communications paths are current.
  • Coordinate site IT communications for outages/maintenance and serve as a local point of coordination for site IT issues in partnership with IT leadership and broader IT teams.

Infrastructure and Project Support

  • Provide on-site infrastructure support ("hands and eyes") for cabling/patching, equipment swaps, connectivity checks, and troubleshooting within documented procedures; coordinate with the Infrastructure team.
  • Support technology asset refresh and lifecycle activities, including scheduling coordination and on-site deployment logistics.
  • Assist with on-site support for capital projects and site initiatives, including staging, deployments, testing, and cutovers as required.

Specialized Site Technology and Lab Support

  • Provide support for specialized site endpoints and mobility devices (for example, operations or warehouse tablets) and coordinate with application or infrastructure teams when issues extend beyond desktop scope.
  • Provide lab assistance and support for local lab environments as assigned; coordinate with Application Support or Infrastructure teams based on scope.
  • Maintain site monitoring and escalation contacts for facility/IT alerting systems and ensure notifications reach the correct support groups.

General

  • Assist as needed in projects and initiatives across all IT functional areas.
  • Availability for after-hours on-call support is required.
