Role Overview
We recently migrated from a legacy SAP on-premise system to full Dynamics 365 Business Central and are currently six months post-implementation. We are seeking a dedicated Report Developer to manage a backlog of approximately 60 reports required over the next year. This individual must understand the system architecture and be able to efficiently produce financial, accounting, and operational reports.

responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver financial, accounting, and operational reports (including warehousing and manufacturing-specific reporting).
- Create minor customizations within Business Central to support reporting needs.
- Utilize Visual Studio Code for custom page or report extensions.
- Utilize RDLC development for base reporting structures.
- Leverage the Power Platform (Power BI and Power Automate) to deliver insights and data automation.
- Collaborate with the team onsite in Richardson to "walk the floor" and understand the manufacturing environment and business processes.
qualifications:
Required Experience & Technical Skills
Dynamics Ecosystem: Deep experience with Business Central Dynamics 365, NAV, and GP.
Reporting Tools: Power BI, Power Automate, and RDLC development.
Development Tools: Proficiency in Visual Studio Code for extensions.
Domain Knowledge: Proven track record writing financial accounting and operational/warehousing reports.
Architectural Understanding: Ability to navigate and understand the underlying architecture of Business Central.
