Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong Windows administration background, application support expertise, and hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline deployment and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, deployment, monitoring, and performance of critical business applications hosted on Windows environments.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and database layers, with deep expertise in Windows Servers, SQL Server, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Application Support, SRE, Production Support, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise applications in Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server including query analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and deployment automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.
  • Monitor application health, availability, and performance in production environments.
  • Deploy application releases through automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support and maintain applications hosted on Windows Servers.
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
  • Analyze logs, system events, and SQL queries to identify root causes.
  • Handle incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve application reliability and deployment processes.
  • Implement automation to reduce operational overhead and enhance stability.
  • Participate in release planning, deployment validation, and post-release support.
  • Ensure adherence to SRE best practices, monitoring standards, and operational excellence.
