I am reaching out regarding an exciting contract opportunity for a Technology Lead Data Architect (Kong API Gateway) role based in Chicago, IL (Onsite-Hybrid). The client is open to candidates willing to relocate.

Position Details:
Role: Technology Lead Data Architect (Mid Level)
Location: Remote

Key Requirements:
9+ years of experience in Data Architecture
Strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway
Experience designing data models, analytics pipelines, and observability frameworks
Strong background in logging, monitoring, and API metadata management
Experience integrating operational data with enterprise systems
API Management experience is a plus

The ideal candidate will design and govern data models supporting Kong operations, define standards for monitoring and metadata management, and enable performance insights and governance across services.
