IT Project Manager – CX

Rate: $55–$65/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager – CX to lead the implementation of customer-facing technology solutions. This role will manage activities across the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and implementation through final deployment.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading full-lifecycle implementations of Customer Experience (CX) solutions, such as CRM platforms and Self-Service Portals, while effectively managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder communications.
The Project Manager will proactively identify and mitigate risks, monitor project financials and timelines, and provide regular progress updates to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, schedules, and budgets.
Lead projects through the full implementation lifecycle, from planning and execution through final deployment.
Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements, milestones, and deadlines are met.
Manage implementation activities for customer-facing CX solutions, including CRM and Self-Service Portal initiatives.
Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize disruptions.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
Communicate project status, milestones, risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
Facilitate project meetings, including:
Project kick-off meetings
Regular project status meetings
Stakeholder meetings
Steering committee reviews
Resolve conflicts and address challenges that arise throughout project execution.
Manage project dependencies and coordinate internal and external resources.
Ensure project deliverables remain aligned with business objectives and requirements.
Support effective collaboration among internal and external, onshore and offshore teams.
Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
Demonstrated experience leading full-lifecycle implementations of CX solutions, such as:
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including:
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from end users through senior management.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated experience managing diverse teams consisting of internal and external resources, both onshore and offshore.
Ability to proactively identify risks, manage issues, and keep projects on track.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience managing enterprise-level customer experience technology implementations.
Experience working in both Agile and traditional Waterfall project environments.
