SAP MDG Consultant / Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant with 10+ years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA migrations. The consultant will lead master data governance, cleansing, harmonization, and migration activities across complex SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Master Data Governance solutions.
• Lead SAP MDG activities for SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation programs.
• Define governance processes, data models, validation rules, workflows, and approval structures.
• Manage master data migration, cleansing, mapping, enrichment, and reconciliation.
• Configure SAP MDG for Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Material, and Financial master data.
• Support CVI and Business Partner conversion for SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop migration strategies using SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services, SLT, or similar tools.
• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems.
• Perform data-quality assessments and resolve migration defects.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, business, and data teams.
• Lead workshops, solution design, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall SAP experience.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing SAP MDG.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Expertise in at least two SAP MDG domains, such as Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Material, or Finance.
• Strong understanding of master data governance, data quality, and migration methodologies.
• Experience with SAP MDG data modeling, BRF+, workflows, validations, derivations, and duplicate checks.
• Knowledge of CVI, Business Partner integration, and SAP S/4HANA simplification requirements.
• Experience with data migration, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data structures.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end SAP MDG implementations.
• Experience with SAP BTP, Data Services, Information Steward, SLT, or Migration Cockpit.
• Knowledge of ABAP, Fiori, APIs, IDocs, and web services.
• Experience supporting global SAP rollouts and large-scale transformation programs.
• SAP MDG or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
