AI IAM with NHI Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI IAM Engineer specializing in Non-Human Identity (NHI) security to design, implement, and manage identity and access controls for AI agents, machine identities, service accounts, APIs, applications, and automated workloads. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud security, AI technologies, and governance frameworks to secure modern enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

• Design and implement IAM solutions for AI agents, applications, APIs, and machine identities.
• Manage lifecycle processes for non-human identities, including provisioning, access reviews, and decommissioning.
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
• Define and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) policies.

AI Security & Governance

• Secure AI agents, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, and autonomous workflows.
• Establish governance frameworks for AI identities and agent permissions.
• Monitor AI agent activities and maintain audit trails for compliance and security investigations.
• Implement least-privilege and Zero Trust security principles for AI-driven systems.

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

• Manage IAM services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Secure machine-to-machine communications and API integrations.
• Implement secrets management, certificate management, and credential rotation processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to integrate identity security into CI/CD pipelines.

Risk & Compliance

• Conduct identity risk assessments and access reviews.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and remediate identity-related security incidents.
• Develop security policies and best practices for AI and non-human identities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or cloud security.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, IGA, and PAM.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and API security.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications, AI agents, and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, PowerShell, or similar scripting/programming languages.
• Experience with secrets management and certificate management solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI agent security and Agentic AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Familiarity with container and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certifications.
• IAM certifications related to SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.
