Role Summary

Lead and support IT M&A and divestiture initiatives by driving project execution, coordinating across multiple workstreams, and ensuring clear communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. This role operates in a primarily Waterfall environment and requires strong ownership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across complex integration efforts.

This individual will play a key role across multiple M&A initiatives, contributing to infrastructure, application, security, financial, and policy-related workstreams while ensuring alignment with governance and deal requirements.



Key Responsibilities

<>Project Leadership and Execution
  • Lead and coordinate IT initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and licensing across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Own and drive delivery of assigned workstreams, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are actively managed and achieved.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and action trackers across multiple workstreams.
  • Operate effectively within a Waterfall delivery model while applying structured project management practices.

<>Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate activities across IT workstreams, including Infrastructure, Applications, Cybersecurity, and Quality, while maintaining visibility across financial, technical, and policy-related initiatives.
  • Manage and track multiple parallel workstreams across two or more M&A efforts, ensuring alignment and progress.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment.

<>Stakeholder Communication and Governance
  • Lead project meetings, governance forums, and executive updates, ensuring clear communication of status, risks, and decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality status reports, presentations, and materials for leadership review using MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Facilitate decision-making by providing structured updates and actionable insights.

<>Risk, Issue, and Financial Oversight
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues across multiple workstreams.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financials, ensuring alignment with deal objectives and approved scope.
  • Support financial, technical, and operational reporting requirements tied to M&A initiatives.

<>Ownership and Delivery Excellence
  • Demonstrate strong accountability and ownership, independently driving work forward without requiring close oversight.
  • Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure all workstreams remain organized, on track, and aligned with overall program objectives.

<>Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, artifacts, and deliverables within SharePoint and related tools.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of M&A playbooks, frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.



Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience supporting or contributing to M&A initiatives (integration or separation), even if not in a lead capacity.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to track and manage interdependencies across projects.
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership, initiative, and drive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Solid understanding of IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, and security.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management or program coordination within enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in Waterfall or hybrid project delivery environments.
  • Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale cross-functional initiatives.



Nice to Have

  • Experience working across multiple concurrent M&A transactions.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, compliance standards, and structured delivery methodologies.
  • Experience preparing and presenting materials for executive audiences.
