Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant – Apparel & Fashion

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong Apparel & Fashion industry expertise to support financial processes across retail and fashion operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) with a solid understanding of apparel-specific business models such as seasonal merchandising, inventory valuation, and retail costing.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Taxation.

• Configure and support SAP CO modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.

• Support retail and apparel finance processes including seasonal costing, margin analysis, markdowns, and inventory valuation.

• Integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, IS-Retail / SAP Fashion Management modules.

• Handle period-end and year-end closing activities.

• Support pricing, rebate settlements, chargebacks, and vendor/customer reconciliation.

• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and provide functional solutions.

• Prepare functional specifications and support testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Provide production support and resolve finance-related system issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.

• Strong experience in Apparel & Fashion / Retail industry (mandatory).

• In-depth knowledge of FI and CO configuration and integration points.

• Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis.

• Good understanding of retail pricing, promotions, and markdown accounting.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance and Fiori apps.

• Knowledge of SAP IS-Retail or SAP S/4 Fashion.

• Exposure to multi-currency, multi-company, and global rollouts.

• Experience with tax localization and statutory reporting.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

• SAP FICO Certification is a plus.
