Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the migration from on-premise Jira to Jira Cloud.
• Analyze current workflows, custom fields, and plugins for cloud compatibility.
• Meet with business teams to gather and document system requirements.
• Clean up old data, projects, and unused user accounts before migrating.
• Test workflows, permissions, and data integrity after the migration.
• Train users and create guides for the new Jira Cloud environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or Jira Administrator.
• Proven track record of at least one full Jira Server-to-Cloud migration.
• Deep knowledge of Jira Cloud settings, schemes, and user management.
• Experience with Atlassian Migration Assistant tools (Jira Cloud Migration Assistant - JCMA).
• Strong skill in mapping data and fixing migration errors.
• Good communication skills to work with different teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Atlassian Certified Administrator for Jira.
• Experience with Confluence Cloud migration.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or REST APIs for data scripts.
