Oracle Cloud Financials Developer

Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a technical Oracle Cloud Financials Developer. with strong OIC and Financials experience. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud Financials solutions and related cloud technologies. This role serves within the Finance Systems organization and is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support Finance, Accounting, Procurement.

Candidate will have expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials modules like Procurement, AP, AR, Collections, GL, along with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), and enterprise integration architecture. The Senior Software Engineer partners closely with Finance business stakeholders, Application Analysts, Architects, and external vendors to deliver innovative cloud solutions while maintaining operational excellence.  

Qualifications:

Candidates should have at least seven years of software engineering experience, including five or more years of technical development experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle Cloud Financials.         

Strong and proven experience in developing finance transformation strategies and leading their execution using Oracle Fusion, and other Oracle Cloud technologies.

Experience supporting enterprise financial processes such as month-end close and financial controls.

Experience with application integrations, system configurations, data flows, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

Proven ability to architect and develop end-to-end solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

Apply AI tools and emerging technologies to design and implement intelligent solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate manual processes, and support finance transformation initiatives.

Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement solutions, support system integrations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Lead troubleshooting efforts for production incidents, coordinate with dependent teams, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.

Support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit activities by ensuring financial data is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.

Manage and deliver system enhancements to support changing business, accounting, and operational needs.

Lead cross-functional financial systems projects from initial requirements through implementation and successful production deployment.

Maintain system and process documentation to support day-to-day operations, financial controls, audit activities, and compliance requirements.

Performs as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases, existing system and operational problems.

Work closely with the Application Analysts and Finance Business teams to gather requirements for reports, interfaces, extensions, integrations.

Develop functional and technical design and documentation for Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control.

Design, develop, and support Oracle Cloud integrations, extensions, and user experience enhancements utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), and Redwood design standards.

Open, manage, and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.

Participates in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software; this may often require independent research and study.

Develops high-quality and production-ready software by using best-practice data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks that are maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure.

Writes highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability, security and performance and with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health.

Tests and ensures quality of all code that developed in line with principles of test-driven development and continuous delivery, utilizing test automation frameworks wherever possible.

Participates in code-reviews, provides technical guidance and mentors software engineers.

Collaborates closely with Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation and other teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results.

Instruments infrastructure and application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, tools instrumentation and metrics (KPI) management.

Performs impact assessment of product (hardware, software) upgrades.

Experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure Applications and Products.

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.

Ability to translate complex business and accounting requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.

Expertise in BI Publisher reports development, Interface development and troubleshooting, application security roles, and workflow approvals is required.

Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), and Redwood design standards.
