Summary

Avanciers are seeking a detail-oriented Project / Program Coordinator to support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Senior NPI Manager to drive execution across hardware programs, ensuring timely delivery, operational readiness, and cross-functional alignment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project plans, schedules, and task tracking using tools like Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project
  • Coordinate meetings including agendas, notes, action items, and follow-ups
  • Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and overall project health
  • Manage project documentation (RAID logs, requirements, SOPs, change requests)
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders and escalate risks/issues proactively
  • Support cross-functional resource coordination and timeline management
  • Assist with scope/change management and basic budget tracking (if applicable)
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, templates, and reporting standards
  • Support onboarding to tools/processes and drive continuous improvements

NPI Program Coordination Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior NPI Manager in end-to-end execution of New Product Introduction deliverables
  • Track and manage operations checklists, including DFX (DFM/DFA/DFT) completion
  • Coordinate PCBA board delivery and manage Prototype Build Requests (PBRs)
  • Monitor and report program KPIs (schedule, yield, quality, cost, readiness)
  • Drive execution checklists and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Participate in cross-functional NPI meetings and track issue resolution
  • Support engineering builds and ensure readiness for system/board builds

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent execution and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with PCBA builds and system integration
  • Prior experience supporting NPI or Operations Managers in hardware programs
