Summary

Our client (Cargill) is seeking a Level III Project Manager to support their multi-year Food Minerva and Genesis Customer Data Platform (CDP) migration program. This business-critical initiative addresses legacy technical debt by migrating off an older CDP into the modern Minerva environment, alongside driving the Genesis program.

This role requires a dedicated driver of delivery rigor and day-to-day execution across a highly matrixed, federated team structure. You will own the integrated project plan, track milestone progress, and aggressively manage the RAID log to ensure cross-workstream dependencies do not block progress. The selected individual will be a central operational liaison across global technical and business workstreams, keeping delivery aligned to hard deadlines without owning core solution decisions or scope prioritization.

Role

  • Develop and maintain the integrated program schedule aligning milestones and critical paths across data engineering, governance, SIT/UAT testing, change management, and deployment teams.
  • Monitor workstream progress against commitments, identify schedule variances early, and drive corrective actions with regional delivery leads.
  • Proactively log, manage, and mitigate program-level Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID). Escalate bottlenecks requiring senior leadership intervention.
  • Establish and execute project governance routines. Prepare weekly status reports and dashboards and provide transparent updates to Steering Committees and Change Advisory Boards (CAB).
  • Connect distributed teams across engineering, testing, and business functions. Ensure smooth operational handoffs from build phases through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support disciplined change intake workflows, ensuring any scope changes are formally assessed for timeline, resource, and budget impacts.
  • Coordinate operational readiness scorecards ahead of launch milestones, tracking go-live action items and stabilization issues through post-implementation hypercare.
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, ensuring plans, decision sheets, and status repositories meet Cargill''''''''s internal Project Management Center of Excellence standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT project management experience coordinating complex, multi-workstream technical programs within a massive global enterprise.

Required

  • Strong hybrid delivery background with fluent knowledge of both Waterfall project control and Agile frameworks (Jira and Azure DevOps/ADO).
  • Proven expertise managing complex, federated technical dependencies and establishing decision frameworks across globally distributed teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to identify key decision-makers and influence stakeholders across business and IT divisions.
  • High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, adaptable mindset; comfortable adjusting plans to scope flexibility without establishing a rigid approach.

Preferred

  • Past project delivery experience within Cargill, directly interacting with the Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) PM Center of Excellence guidelines, is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing migrations involving data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, or federated data models.
  • Experience managing large-scale ERP (such as SAP) migrations, specifically leveraging the interdependency and cutover rigor required for complex systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
