Full Time Sr Business System Analyst (Banking/Capital Markets)

Position Title: Business Analyst (BSA)
Domain: Banking / Finance / Equity Capital / Capital Markets
Location: Dallas, TX Onsite (3 Days/Week, Day One Onsite)

We are seeking a strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep experience in Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets to support end-to-end requirement analysis, solution delivery, and Agile project execution. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.

Requirement Analysis (50%)

• Work closely with Client Product Owners and Business SMEs to understand existing business processes, scope, and objectives

• Document functional and non-functional requirements, user journeys, pain points, and improvement opportunities

• Participate in application and data discovery to identify priorities, scope, UI needs, business rules, reports, access controls, and reference data

• Perform detailed mapping of business requirements to application functionalities

• Write clear, well-structured user stories aligned to application workflows

• Schedule and facilitate user story grooming sessions with Product Owners, SMEs, and development teams

• Act as the primary point of contact for requirement clarification between business and technical teams

Solution Development & Implementation (25%)

• Liaise with Development Leads to translate business requirements into technical designs

• Coordinate with remote/offshore development teams to explain requirements and resolve queries

• Review solution designs and provide guidance to ensure alignment with Product Owner expectations

• Facilitate in-sprint demos with business stakeholders and document status, feedback, and action items

Project Coordination & Delivery (25%)

• Partner with Scrum Master to maintain and manage the JIRA backlog and storyboard

• Collaborate with Program and Project Managers on roadmap planning and prioritization

• Assist with smoke testing prior to UAT and deployment

• Prepare and maintain application run books and supporting documentation

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst

• Proven background in Banking, Finance, Equity Capital, or Capital Markets

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Strong expertise in JIRA, user stories, and backlog management

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with onshore and offshore teams
