Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Appellate Attorney.

This position offers the opportunity to handle complex appellate matters across a broad range of legal issues, working closely with trial teams and clients to develop persuasive legal arguments and strategies at the appellate level.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and argue appellate briefs in state and federal courts
Handle appeals involving complex commercial, business, and civil litigation matters
Conduct in-depth legal research and develop strategic appellate arguments
Collaborate with trial attorneys to preserve issues for appeal and shape litigation strategy
Participate in oral arguments and assist with post-trial motions and related proceedings
Provide advisory support on appellate risk and legal strategy to clients and internal teams

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar admission
2-4 years of appellate or complex litigation experience with a strong emphasis on brief writing
Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Experience with federal and Florida appellate courts preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-stakes matters
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
