Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)   SAP Finance to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for a large enterprise environment. This is a hands-on, onsite role in Alameda, CA, requiring deep functional expertise across SAP Finance and strong collaboration with business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA solution architecture, strong exposure to Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes, and proven skills in working with cross-functional SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support SAP Finance (FICO) processes including:

  • General Ledger (GL), postings, clearing, currency revaluation

  • Document splitting, workflows, journal entry (JE) support

  • Audit and finance close support

• Manage Controlling (CO) activities:

  • Cost centers, internal orders, CO-PA

  • Group reporting and period-end close activities

• Handle Costing and COGS accounting:

  • Standard costing and integration with production orders

• Support and optimize SAP interfaces:

  • SD, MM, AP, AR, PO, Tax, and Oanda exchange rates

• Partner with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into solutions using:

  • Analysis for Office (AO), Power BI, and ABAP reports

• Identify and recommend continuous improvement and SAP S/4HANA optimization opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA

• Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling

• Experience with interfacing SAP modules (MM, SD, PP)

• Solid understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance

• Hands-on experience with reporting and analytics tools

• Ability to work onsite in Alameda, CA (mandatory)
