Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician Position OverviewWe are seeking an
Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician to support day-to-day data center operations, including server and network equipment installations, structured cabling, project work, and capacity management. This role is hands-on and site-based, working in a dynamic environment focused on building, maintaining, and scaling next-generation infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies while supporting reliable and scalable network environments.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with cabling vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling
- Install, test, and maintain fiber optic and copper cable infrastructure, including patch panels and patch cords
- Ensure all data center and vendor installations comply with established installation standards and best practices
- Report work status and progress through ticketing systems, status reports, email, and Slack
- Manage work priorities through ticketing systems and workflows to complete customer requests and project tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and change-related processes within the data center environment
- Exhibit high-quality workmanship on all tasks and maintain site cleanliness
- Work with a partner to move and position enterprise equipment from loading docks to designated locations
- Manage, verify, and coordinate daily material deliveries to the site
- Carry a cell phone for communication, coordination, and emergency response
- Travel up to 50% within the geographic work area; occasional travel outside the primary area may be required
Technical Environment- Data center operations and infrastructure support

Required Skills & Qualifications- Entry-level experience or foundational knowledge in data center or infrastructure environments
- Understanding of cabling standards and installation practices
- Familiarity with computers, servers, switches, and networking hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow processes, document work, and execute changes accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
