Role: Azure Data Architect

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and govern scalable enterprise data platforms on Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based data architecture, with experience supporting large-scale analytics and regulatory reporting initiatives. The role involves defining data architecture standards, enabling enterprise data integration, ensuring data quality, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver modern data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures using Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
- Define data models, data integration patterns, and data governance standards for structured and semi-structured data.
- Architect and optimize data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-native services.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into data solutions.
- Lead data platform modernization initiatives and establish best practices for data engineering and analytics.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and regulatory compliance across the data ecosystem.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of data platforms.
- Work closely with data engineering teams on enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
- Support regulatory and operational reporting requirements by designing trusted and governed data assets.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
