Title: MicroStrategy Developer

Job Summary - Design, develop, and optimize MicroStrategy reports and dashboards, focusing on platform analytics and environment cleanup.
- Provide architectural guidance on MicroStrategy metadata design, object reuse, and dependency management.
- Develop and maintain MicroStrategy metadata with strong understanding of master data, ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Analyze and document metadata dependencies and impacts across reports and dashboards.
- Assess and optimize the MicroStrategy environment for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Identify, document, and remove unused, redundant, or obsolete objects from the metadata.
- Establish standards and processes for object lifecycle management and metadata hygiene.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into MicroStrategy solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and report authors, providing guidance and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MicroStrategy performance and metadata.
- Ensure best practices are followed for logical data modeling, semantic layer design, and BI governance.
- Utilize strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
- (Preferred) Participate in MicroStrategy administration, security, and cloud-based BI/data environments.
