Role Description

Seeking an experienced Lead Performance Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling, API/Web testing, automation, and performance engineering, with hands-on experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for web, API, and microservices.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.
Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and automate test execution.
Build and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications (Unit, Integration, E2E).
Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations.
Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, Memory, JVM, I/O, Network).
Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and deliver performance reports.

Required Skills

12+ years of Performance Engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling.
Experience with API/Web performance testing and automation.
Hands-on experience with Next.js performance testing.
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML.
Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Dynatrace, APM, JVM Monitoring.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and test automation frameworks.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
