Business Analyst

We are seeking a Lead / Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of enterprise experience to drive requirements elicitation, process mapping, technical documentation recovery, and knowledge management across complex IT environments. This position works closely with cross-functional technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across Infrastructure, Application Development, Service Delivery, and Cybersecurity to capture, document, and standardize critical IT operational processes, disaster recovery plans, and governance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management & Elicitation: Facilitate structured interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions with technical SMEs across infrastructure, applications, service delivery, and cybersecurity teams to elicit business and operational requirements.
• Process Mapping & Workflow Design: Utilize Microsoft Visio to design, document, and standardize complex technical and business process flows, architecture diagrams, and operational workflows.
• Documentation Recovery & Knowledge Management: Lead documentation recovery and process standardization initiatives to enhance IT operational maturity, establishing centralized SharePoint documentation repositories and governance models.
• ITSM & Cybersecurity Alignment: Document IT Service Management (ITSM), Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), and cybersecurity processes in alignment with industry frameworks (ITIL, NIST, CIS).
• Technical Communication: Translate complex technical inputs from engineering teams into clear, structured, and accessible documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline—OR equivalent professional experience.
• Senior Business Analysis Experience: 10+ years of dedicated Business Analyst experience navigating complex IT and technology environments.
• Requirements Elicitation & Facilitation: Proven expertise in interviewing, workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and requirements gathering.
• Advanced MS 365 Proficiency: Advanced experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Process Mapping Mastery: Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Visio for technical, business, and workflow diagramming.
• Cross-Functional Technical Collaboration: Demonstrated track record collaborating directly with technical SMEs across IT Infrastructure, Applications, Service Delivery, and Cybersecurity divisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, ITIL Foundation, or comparable business analysis/service management credentials.
• Documentation & Knowledge Governance: Experience with IT operational maturity, documentation recovery, and building/managing SharePoint knowledge repositories.
• Specialized Domain Knowledge: Prior experience documenting Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or ITSM processes.
• Framework Familiarity: Exposure to IT and security frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, or CIS controls.
• Regulated Sector Experience: Background working within public sector/government agencies or highly regulated enterprise environments.
