Position location: Lansing: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. 

Job Summary 

- Lead the QA strategy and ensure best practices for enterprise software applications, including Payments and CRM systems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright (Python) and Pytest.
- Automate REST API testing (REST Assured) and perform end-to-end UI, cross-browser, and API automation.
- Execute performance and load testing using tools like Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility evaluations to ensure compliance (WCAG 2.1/2.2, JAWS, NVDA).
- Validate data integrity and conduct SQL-based data validation across multiple systems.
- Maintain and enhance legacy test scripts (UFT/VBScript).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners within Agile teams.
- Perform security and compliance testing for standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPPA.
- Manage test cases, test documentation (BRD, FRD, SRS, RTM), and reporting using Azure Test Plans or similar tools.
- Oversee test environment setup and test data management.
- Ensure usability and accessibility compliance for enterprise applications.
- Stay updated with new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years’ experience in software testing (automation, performance, API, and enterprise systems).
- Proficiency with Playwright (Python), Pytest, REST Assured, SQL, and Dynamics 365 functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud (Azure), CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps), and test management tools.
- Knowledge of security, accessibility, and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have:

- Certifications (Dynamics 365, Python, SQL, Agile).
- Experience with C#/.NET/Java, Docker/Kubernetes, and scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe).
- Exposure to Azure Test Plans or similar tools.
