ServicePoint is supporting a healthcare client seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is critical to the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of clinical information systems within Ambulatory Services, with a strong focus on AthenaOne (AthenaHealth).
Due to the healthcare environment and required clearance process, the client strongly prefers candidates currently working in a healthcare setting, as this significantly reduces onboarding time.

Vaccination and Immunization Requirements (with documentation):
Proof of immunity or vaccination (within the last 2 years, where applicable):
If lab results show non-immunity, proof of vaccination is required
TDAP: Documentation within the last 10 years
Flu Vaccine: Current season, including lot number, vaccinator signature, and manufacturer
TB Testing: Two negative TB skin tests (one TST within the last 3 months)
Note: Some vaccination series may take up to 6 months to complete and may impact candidacy.
Scope of Work / Responsibilities
The Clinical Systems Analyst will serve as a key liaison between IT, clinical staff, and vendors, ensuring clinical systems effectively support ambulatory workflows.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide analyst-level support for AthenaOne (AthenaHealth), including:
Templates, order sets, profiles, access, interfaces, and integrations
Deliver AthenaOne training for:
Coordinate and support:
System testing, implementations, optimizations, upgrades, and maintenance
Functional, parallel, integrated, and usability testing
Develop and execute test plans, test data, and scenarios; review results with leadership
Analyze, document, and optimize clinical workflows and assess system impact
Plan for and support system enhancements and educate staff on new releases
Provide best-practice recommendations within IT and EHS standards
Participate in evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies
Identify and define system enhancements to improve existing platforms
Provide post-implementation support and collaborate with vendors and clinical staff
Offer daily help desk support and participate in IS on-call rotation
Collaborate with Informaticists on workflow redesign and optimization
Support report design in collaboration with Report Writers
Act as a liaison between IS, vendors, clinical departments, and end users
Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and respond to urgent issues
Travel to multiple sites as needed to support workflow changes
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and communication skills
Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Healthcare background highly preferred
Minimum 5 years of hands-on AthenaOne (AthenaHealth) support
Prior experience with AthenaOne implementations and upgrades
Strong knowledge of clinical operations and ambulatory workflows
Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
High level of professionalism in handling confidential patient and organizational data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environments
Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills
