Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments while automating software delivery and infrastructure management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or Systems Administration
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery
• Strong expertise in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS EKS / ECS, Azure AKS, or Google Cloud Platform GKE
• Strong scripting/programming skills using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security controls
• Experience with cloud networking, IAM, security groups, VPC/VNet, load balancers, DNS, and certificates
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability
• Knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or Dynatrace
• Experience with Ansible, Helm, Argo CD, Flux, or similar automation/deployment tools
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting critical incidents

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Implement cloud migration and modernization strategies.
• Configure and manage compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, and database services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM/Bicep.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Implement branching strategies, artifact management, version control, and automated rollback.
• Integrate security and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support blue-green, canary, rolling, and zero-downtime deployments.

Kubernetes & Containers

• Design and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
• Implement Kubernetes networking, RBAC, secrets, ingress, autoscaling, and persistent storage.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across Kubernetes environments.

DevSecOps

• Integrate security into the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Implement vulnerability scanning, container security, secrets management, and compliance controls.
• Work with tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, Checkmarx, or similar technologies.
• Implement secure IAM, least-privilege access, encryption, and secrets management.

Monitoring & Production Support

• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot performance, availability, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
• Participate in 24x7 production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis when required.
• Develop automation to reduce manual operational activities.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer
• Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer / Azure Solutions Architect
• Kubernetes certification such as CKA/CKAD
• Experience with GitOps
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and distributed teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
