AI Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated AI Software Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software development and Artificial Intelligence to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, experience with REST APIs, and knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

The candidate will be responsible for developing intelligent applications, integrating LLM APIs, building AI-powered chatbots and automation solutions, and implementing scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered software applications.

• Build and integrate Generative AI solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini APIs.

• Develop LLM-based applications using prompt engineering and RAG architecture.

• Build backend services and REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Implement AI agents and workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.

• Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, and PostgreSQL/pgvector.

• Develop chatbots, intelligent assistants, and document-processing applications.

• Integrate machine learning models and third-party APIs into applications.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

• Deploy and maintain applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Perform debugging, unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in software development, AI engineering, or backend development.

• Strong programming experience in Python.

• Understanding of OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms.

• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, and REST API development.

• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and Machine Learning concepts.

• Hands-on experience with OpenAI or other LLM APIs.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG.

• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.

• Knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI agents and multi-step AI workflows.

• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search.

• Knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices.

• Understanding of model evaluation, hallucination reduction, and responsible AI.

• Experience deploying AI applications in production.
