Your responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities could be quite varied, but typically our Data Engineers (F/M/X):
  • Design data models of analytical applications
  • Understand, build and develop ETL and data integration solutions using a wide array of technologies and data sources
  • Work with big data components and migration strategies
  • Work with cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, and Google) for hosting data solutions and applications.
  • Support the development of analysis and reporting solutions

Skills and experience
  • We're looking for people with good data engineering skills, and you'll ideally bring with you:
  • Proven role experience in developing ETL and data integration solutions
  • Good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob, Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
  • Capability in using Databricks and/or Spark
  • Good experience in general programming - Python and SQL
  • You'll have experience working with data warehouse solutions, extracting and processing data in various ways using off-the-shelf tools and open-source tools. You'll also be really familiar with working with version control systems (Git).
