We are seeking a hands-on Principal Mechanical Engineer to support early research and development initiatives for next-generation instrumentation systems in a Life Sciences / Diagnostics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support prototyping of next-generation instruments (pneumatic, fluidic, thermal & linear motion systems)
Design and build fixtures & functional prototypes
Own the full Design Build Test lifecycle
Develop and maintain 3D models and assemblies
Collaborate cross-functionally in an R&D lab setting
Required Skills:
7+ years of mechanical design & prototyping experience
Strong 3D modeling expertise
Proficiency in SolidWorks & PDM
Experience in Life Sciences / Diagnostics instrumentation
Hands-on rapid prototyping experience:
3D Printing
Laser Cutting
CNC Mills & Lathes

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires.
