Job DescriptionCompensation and Benefits:- Expected Base Salary: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on education, experience, and licensure.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform and may oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
- May lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.
- Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
- Interest and ability to advance to a senior engineer or project manager position.
QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Experience with computer analysis software systems.
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable consulting to architectural practices.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong team of professionals and support staff within a cooperative multidiscipline office performing at a high level of satisfaction to clients.
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE- B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering required.
- Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the structural design of buildings or similar structures.
- Registration as a P.E. required.
- Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE) preferred.
