VP, IT Operations

Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a VP of IT Operations to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.

This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits onsite M-F in McDonogh, GA. Must not currently nor-in the future require work visa sponsorship. Unable to work C2C.

Responsibilities:

• Provide executive-level leadership over enterprise IT operations supporting a multi-site distribution organization, ensuring uptime and reliability of systems tied to order fulfillment, logistics, and revenue generation
• Stabilize and modernize a complex, legacy-heavy environment (including IBM i / AS400 platforms), improving system architecture, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Oversee ERP platforms, warehouse systems, and integrations (EDI, data exchange, and third-party vendor systems) to ensure seamless business operations
• Lead, assess, and restructure a cross-functional IT team (applications, infrastructure, and support), including performance management, mentoring, and organizational design
• Establish governance around vendors, budgets, and technology investments; manage a large portfolio of third-party providers and ensure accountability
• Drive IT strategy in alignment with executive leadership, presenting clear problem statements and actionable solution paths to support business growth
• Implement operational discipline across IT including documentation, communication standards, project tracking, and service delivery processes

Position Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including running enterprise IT operations at a Director/VP level
• Strong experience in legacy enterprise environments (IBM i / AS400, RPG or similar) with the ability to oversee and challenge development teams
• Background supporting distribution, logistics, supply chain, or similarly complex operational businesses
• Experience managing ERP systems, integrations (EDI), and hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem + cloud platforms)
• Proven ability to evaluate and transform underperforming teams; strong leadership in organizational restructuring and culture building
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, security, networking, and enterprise applications (Microsoft ecosystem, virtualization, backup/recovery, etc.)
• Executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive decision-making in a fast-paced environment
