Network Support Engineer - Part-Time Contract Location: Remote Employment Type: Part-Time Contract Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM MST Hours: 20 hours per week ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a mid-to-senior level network engineer to provide dedicated morning coverage for a large-scale Aruba switching and wireless infrastructure. This is a low-stress monitoring role with occasional troubleshooting and device management - ideal for someone who values consistency and a steady work rhythm. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor Aruba switches and wireless access points across client environments Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance degradation, and device failures Coordinate and execute hardware replacements as needed Configure and deploy new Aruba switches and access points occasionally Perform routine maintenance including firmware updates and configuration backups Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures Provide shift status updates and respond to escalations within established SLAs REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Mid-level to senior experience with Aruba switching platforms Hands-on experience deploying and managing Aruba wireless access points Strong understanding of VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless protocols Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues independently Experience with network monitoring and management tools Strong documentation skills Self-directed with ability to work independently in a remote environment Reliable availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM MST PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Aruba certification (ACMA, ACSA, or equivalent) Experience managing large-scale Aruba deployments Familiarity with Aruba Central or AirWave management platforms Background in MSP or enterprise IT environments TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Corporate laptop provided by company Reliable high-speed internet connection Ability to access network management systems remotely WORK SCHEDULE 20 hours per week - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM MST. Remote work arrangement. Consistent weekly availability required.
