Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One (B1) / SAP HANA Technical (Basis) Consultant to support system administration, infrastructure configuration, migration, installation, backup management, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SUSE Linux, SAP HANA, SAP Business One server components, client installations, and migration activities, including cutover and rollback planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP Business One (B1) on the SAP HANA platform.

• Perform technical administration and troubleshooting of SAP HANA environments running on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).

• Manage SAP Business One server components, client installations, and related technical configurations.

• Install, configure, and maintain the Application Function Library (AFL).

• Work with Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) for data migration and import activities.

• Configure and support the SAP Business One Integration Framework (B1iF).

• Manage the Remote Support Platform (RSP) and related support activities.

• Perform system migrations, upgrades, and environment configuration.

• Manage SAP license files and troubleshoot licensing-related issues.

• Configure and monitor automatic backups and validate backup and recovery procedures.

• Develop and execute migration and cutover plans, including rollback procedures.

• Conduct post-migration validation, system testing, and issue resolution.

• Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and system stability.

• Maintain technical documentation for installations, configurations, migrations, backups, and recovery procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) on SAP HANA.

• Experience with SAP HANA technical administration and troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).

• Experience installing and configuring SAP Business One server components and clients.

• Knowledge of AFL, DTW, B1iF, and RSP.

• Experience with SAP B1 system migration and technical configuration.

• Knowledge of SAP license file management.

• Experience configuring automatic backups and performing backup and recovery validation.

• Experience planning and executing cutovers and rollback procedures.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Business One landscape migrations and upgrades.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA database backup, recovery, and performance troubleshooting.

• Experience with production deployments and post-migration support.

• Ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple teams.
