Job Summary:

We are seeking a Gen AI / Machine Learning Lead SME who will act as a technical advisor and domain expert for AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives. This role is focused on strategy, solution design, governance, and stakeholder engagement, rather than hands-on development. The ideal candidate will guide teams, define best practices, and ensure successful adoption of AI solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Generative AI, LLMs, and ML solutions
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for AI/ML initiatives
• Define solution architecture and best practices for Gen AI implementations
• Guide teams on LLM usage, RAG frameworks, and AI adoption strategies
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools, platforms, and frameworks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions
• Ensure governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices
• Conduct technical reviews and solution validations
• Mentor teams and provide technical guidance (non-coding)
• Stay updated on latest trends in Gen AI, LLMs, and AI ecosystems

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP concepts
• Deep understanding of RAG architectures and AI solution design
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and ecosystems (conceptual + advisory level)
• Knowledge of cloud AI services (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts, model lifecycle, and deployment strategies
• Experience with vector databases and AI tooling landscape
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to drive AI strategy and roadmap
