We are looking for Microsoft Fabric Technical Lead for our client in Hartford, CT

Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Technical Lead

Job Location: Hartford, CT

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr

Requirement/Must Have:

1+ years of experience in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Synapse in Fabric, Power BI).
Experience in performance optimization across lakehouse and BI layers.
Knowledge of star-schema modeling, DAX/Power BI model tuning, query folding, incremental refresh, partitioning/caching, and load testing.
Experience in NFR management & realization (scalability, reliability, security/compliance, cost/FinOps, data quality).
Ability to define SLOs/capacity plans and implement monitoring/alerting.
Experience in architecting data products delivered through medallion architecture.
Implementation awareness of Data Governance, Lineage, and Data Cataloging.
Experience in CI/CD (Fabric Git integration), environment strategy, and release governance.
Technical leadership experience in design/code reviews, solution spikes, and performance deep-dives.
Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and manage risks, dependencies, and milestones.

Responsibilities:

Drive performance optimization across lakehouse and BI layers.
Own NFR management & realization.
Architect data products delivered through medallion architecture.
Provide technical leadership to squads and remove delivery blockers.
Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

P&C insurance domain fluency (policy/claims/billing data, loss triangles, regulatory/market conduct reporting).
Experience in enterprise data strategy & program management.
