Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 + Benefits + Travel Allowance

The Opportunity

A leading independent service organization is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Service Engineer to support healthcare facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

This field-based role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of SPECT and Nuclear Medicine imaging systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while delivering exceptional service to hospitals and imaging centers across the territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical challenges, autonomy, and working with advanced medical imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and calibrations on SPECT and Nuclear Medicine systems
Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults
Install, configure, and commission imaging equipment to manufacturer specifications
Maintain accurate service records, compliance documentation, and parts inventory
Build strong relationships with clinical and technical staff through professional customer support
Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Requirements
Previous experience servicing Nuclear Medicine, SPECT, or medical imaging equipment
Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose faults to the component level
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including overnight hotel stays
