Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Tester with expertise in testing applications developed or deployed on Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes, test automation, and performance testing in cloud-based environments. Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for applications hosted on Azure platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure application quality and scalability.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks compatible with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure clarity of requirements and effective defect resolution.
- Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed reports to the development team.
- Monitor and ensure application compliance with cloud security standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies and services.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) a big plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications (a Plus):
- Experience in the retail industry or testing retail-related applications.
- Azure-related certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools like LoadRunner or Blazemeter.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
