SAP S/4HANA / ECC OTC Functional Lead | Milpitas, CA (Hybrid Onsite)

Position Overview

• Role: SAP Functional Manager / SAP S/4HANA & ECC OTC Consultant

• Client / Partner: Tech Mahindra

• Location: Milpitas, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per week)

• Employment Type: Contract (C2C)

• Max Rate: Up to $80/hr C2C

Key Responsibilities

• OTC Solution Leadership: Lead the functional design and configuration of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Sales & Distribution (SD) business processes in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.

• Core Module Configuration: Configure sales document types, item categories, pricing procedures (Condition Technique), credit management, output determination, shipping, and billing workflows.

• Functional Specifications & Testing: Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications (FS), oversee ABAP developments, and coordinate Unit, Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Integration & EDI: Oversee integration points between SD/OTC and FICO (AR/Revenue Recognition), MM, and third-party logistics/systems via EDI / IDocs (850, 855, 856, 810).

• Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Drive requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders, manage cutover/go-live activities, and coordinate delivery with onshore and offshore teams.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (OTC) functional consulting and leadership experience.

• Proven track record delivering at least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations or migrations on SAP S/4HANA.

• Deep functional expertise across Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Shipping, Billing, Invoicing, and Revenue Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of EDI / IDoc integration and integration with FICO, MM, and PP/LE modules.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills with experience managing functional delivery.

• Ability to work onsite 3 days a week in Milpitas, CA.
