System Business Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced System Business Analyst with 13+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, system analysis, and application development projects. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify improvements.
- Create BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
- Perform gap analysis and impact analysis for system changes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production implementation.
- Prepare functional specifications and maintain project documentation.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues and communicate them to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / System Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Experience with system integration, APIs, databases, and application workflows is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification are a plus.
