Position: Desktop Support Technician

Compensation: $30 - $34 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Carlsbad, NM

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join their team!

This opportunity supports a field desktop support team in Carlsbad, providing hands-on technical assistance across office users and local equipment. The role offers a mix of in-person troubleshooting, asset management, and end-user support in a fast-paced environment. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, working directly with users, and contributing to reliable day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Provide L1-L2 support for office-based users and visiting employees
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, phones, and AV issues
Support iPhones, iPads, desk phones, and computers
Log, track, and update support tickets in the service system
Provision and de-provision IT assets for employees
Maintain accurate records and support documentation
Manage local IT stockroom and asset inventory
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams
Support equipment testing, monitoring, and basic modifications

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training
2-4 years of relevant desktop support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid customer service and problem-solving abilities
Basic knowledge of iPhones, iPads, and computer hardware
Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office
Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with Apple Business Manager
Experience supporting an MDM platform
Familiarity with AI tools
Experience with internet directory services software
