Description: About the Role As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding enterprise systems and data assets from evolving cyber threats. You'll lead incident response efforts, manage security platforms, and collaborate cross-functionally to embed security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This role requires deep expertise in threat detection, regulatory compliance, and security architecture, with a strong focus on frameworks like NIST, CIS, and HITRUST.
Responsibilities - Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM and EDR tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with infrastructure and network teams.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry frameworks.
- Lead investigations of security breaches and manage incident response workflows.
- Perform audits of access controls, user permissions, and privileged accounts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure configurations and patch management.
- Support compliance initiatives (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS) and regulatory audits.
- Conduct risk assessments for new technologies and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training and guidance across the organization.
- Participate in cross-functional IT projects to ensure security is integrated throughout the lifecycle.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
- Assist in designing and implementing security architecture (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IAM).
- Report on security metrics, incidents, and risk posture to leadership.
- Implement continuous monitoring and threat intelligence analysis.
- Support forensic investigations and digital evidence collection.
- Ensure secure cloud adoption and configuration (e.g., Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365).
- Research and recommend new security tools, processes, and capabilities.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams during audits and reviews.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, HITRUST).
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and cloud security tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
