We are looking for a MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and deliver scalable integrations and APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. In this role, you will work across the full integration lifecycle, collaborating closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to enable API-led connectivity across the organization. You will contribute to solution design, implement modern integration patterns, and ensure secure, high-quality integration delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.
    Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations and APIs using Anypoint Studio and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
    • Build high-quality RAML specifications and apply API-led connectivity principles across System, Process, and Experience layers.
    • Implement secure API designs, including OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and client ID enforcement.
    • Integrate with REST/SOAP services, SaaS applications, databases, and legacy systems.
    • Develop asynchronous and event-driven integrations using JMS, Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or similar messaging platforms.
    • Apply established integration patterns including orchestration, routing, transformation, and standardized error handling.
    • Build and optimize DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other formats.
    • Configure and govern APIs in Anypoint API Manager; apply security and governance policies.
    • Perform unit testing with MUnit and conduct debugging and performance optimization.
    • Participate in code reviews, documentation reviews, and contribute to integration standards and best practices.
    • Support QA during integration/system testing and assist in deployment activities across environments.
    • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.
    • Stay informed on MuleSoft platform updates, connectors, and emerging industry integration trends.
    Day-to-Day Workflow (Agile Delivery)
    • Review intake notes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Collaborate with architects, leads, and stakeholders to refine requirements and define technical specifications.
    • Participate in design discussions for API contracts (RAML), data mappings, sequence diagrams, and integration flows.
    • Develop MuleSoft integrations based on approved technical designs.
    • Deliver code within the sprint, aligned with development standards and integration patterns.
    • Join Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
    • Troubleshoot defects during QA and UAT cycles, providing timely clarifications.
    • Support deployments and partner with support teams for production readiness.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • 3+ years of software development experience.
    • 1+ year of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
    • Strong experience designing APIs and building RAML specifications.
    • Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe.
    • Solid understanding of API security, governance, and policy enforcement.
    • Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture.
    • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs).
    • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and DataWeave.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (MCD).
    • Experience using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudHub logs, SumoLogic, New Relic, DynaTrace, etc.).
